About

My name is Alexander and I am a City and Regional Planning (CRP) student at the Ohio State University. I focus my studies on transportation and urban design, with disability planning and accessibility along with safety in the forefront of my mind.

I hail from the Cleveland metro, specifically from Lorain, Ohio. Lorain is my hometown and holds a special relationship that goes back and forth, like a lovable relative that can be a little much to handle sometimes. I lived in downtown Cleveland for a year while attending Cleveland State University and now I live in Columbus.

In addition to studying CRP, I enjoy graphic design and photography. Being able to portray ideas visually has always helped to make my interpretation of something tangible and clear, even when I’m not great at using my words.

My favorite architecture is tied between Art Deco and brutalism. I consider myself to be somewhat “hip with the times” – I appreciate modernity and the avant garde, not only in visual aesthetics but in music, too. My humor can be described as anywhere between caustic sarcasm and cheesy puns, but anyone can guarantee you that if you tell me a joke, I will be easily amused.
